Day 1911 a lovely morning dog walk and surviving a challenging day 😆

I didn’t sleep so well last night so was exhausted when the alarm went off at 5.30….. I’m starting to feel like I’m running on fumes… but I still feel ok. It’s not like I would usually feel.

I had two lovely dog walks this morning. The calm before the storm. Our forecast is pretty wild this weekend.

I took loads of photos this morning.

This bush looks like a blueberry bush but it will be bright orange in a few weeks. It fascinates me every year.

I wanted to sit here for a while but no time!

And behind me the clouds are gathering ready for the rain and winds forecast for the rest of the day.

So I’ve had a really busy day at work…. Full of things that never happen to me and yet they all happened on the same day…. 😆

We had a van breakdown today and had to cancel someone’s booking, which is just the worst and luckily doesn’t happen very often. I managed to help them source another van. I was no more flustered than anyone else would be in that situation and was proud of myself for handling everything calmly.

Thanks to the antidepressants for taking away the fear. The fear of letting everyone down and/or making the wrong decisions. I made the right decision at the time. There’s not often I’ve had the confidence recently to say that.

The team pulled together to try and fix it but it’s in the garage now.

So needless to say I am wiped out tonight. I have my jammies on for the first evening in a good few weeks and I’m going to crochet with my feet up!!

It’s coming on…. Think Craig will have a lovely scarf for his 50th instead of a blanket! This is 3 balls of wool already!

And in other bad news 🫣🥴😆, I am working tomorrow 8-4 and will be in the workshop all by myself!! I have loads to do so I’ll be busy so I hope the time flies by… then I can have my weekend. I’m making up a day so I can have a Monday off in August and everyone else is off tomorrow!!
