Day 1997 our last day in Greece! 🇬🇷

Boy do we love Greece!

You may have picked that up in these last few days.

We were being picked up at 4.50pm so we got most of the day in the sun.

Regardless of the lovely location, you are still just waiting and counting down the time.

I am not complaining at all.

We had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant last night.

We were joined by our favourite kitten, Puppy.

Someone may or may not have been feeding him/her!

I had another lovely Greek salad but this time with fries.

It was lovely just to sit and relax.

We were up just after 7.… note clouds in the sky!!

I’m going to miss this so much!!

We went for breakfast after 8am…. avocado toast for me.

And back up for the last 2.5 hours at our pool.

We have to leave now…. 🥺

And hardship…. This was our new home for the day!

We were joined by another cat… this one is called Scar (named by us of course!) Scar was in a fight on Tuesday and had 3 puncture wounds to the left cheek. Bless….

And we just waited….

Got a swim in the main pool for the first time.

And then had showers and waited for the bus!

I went outside to take some photos.

And Puppy gave us a final tongue out goodbye.

And we’re off.

The transfer bus was over 2.5 hours as we picked up everyone and their auntie!! It was a lovely tour though, we got to see loads of Rhodes.

It’s dark by the time we get to the airport!

The airport is heaving, every flight is delayed but that’s ok, we are here now. I have a seat and Craig is sitting on the floor.

We land in the wee small hours.

Back to auld claes (clothes) and porridge tomorrow as my Grandad would say.
