Day 1920 a day at the beach! ☀️☀️☀️☀️🏖️🏝️🌊👙☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

There was a beautiful moon last night…. I got up for the loo at 1.42am.

It is scorching hot today.

I can’t remember the last time we had this kind of heat in Scotland…. Certainly not last year… 2024 was the summer that never was.

I spent a couple of hours this morning raging at the noise of the people beside me before I realised that I had to let it go. they started playing music at 7.15am and woke the whole campsite up with their chatter.

I get so overwhelmed by other people’s noise!! I know that seems ridiculous but it blows my mind! I know I’m not alone with that though.

So I went for a lovely walk and it really cleared my head.

Slowly because it’s hot…. Down on the huge beach as the tide is out.

I’ve got cheap water shoes from Amazon and they are perfect for this beach. It goes from soft sand to razor sharp shells, to soft mud and clay.

I’m fascinated by the light on the ripples of water on the sand!

That’s the campsite in the distance.

The tide is coming in all morning. High tide due at 1.30pm.

I move myself away from the noise and down onto the beach.

I spend most of the day in the sea. It’s the coolest place to be!

It’s just been so stunning. I was obviously worried about burning as I have factor 50 on but no mirrors to check and can’t get suntan lotion on my back!

And the tide heads back out again and I retreat to my makeshift shelter. I’m so grateful for the shade!!

I’ve read on and off all day and I’ll be crocheting later.

I’m actually shattered and will sleep tonight unless that heat on my back gets hotter 😆

Hope you’ve all had a lovely day!

Stay safe everyone ☀️☀️☀️
