Day 1918 a glorious day!

Another quick one tonight as I’m running out of evening!

I woke at 4.10am and I’m shattered today and have so much to do .

So it’s been a good day and the sun has been shining. It’s 19°c which is a lovely temperature for us Scots. Beautiful!

It’s feeling hotter as the evening goes on as the temperature isn’t going down. I can hear the birds chirping like crazy in our ivy in the garden!

So I left work and rushed to get toenails redone in my lovely, bright salmon orange.

Then on to the supermarket to pick up food and snacks for my camping trip tomorrow!

I’m going back to the lovely campsite by the sea, for two nights tomorrow.

Craig got me a lovely wee shelter to sit in if it’s too hot as the forecast this weekend is super hot for Scotland.

We VERY RARELY get temperatures like this.

I know it’s nothing compared to other parts of the world but 15°C is a really nice day for us!!

So the car is packed and I’ve just had some dinner and I’m ready to go. (on re-reading this I should say I’m not going until tomorrow!)

There’s a full Buck Moon tonight. I’m fairly certain I won’t see it….. I’ve not seen the moon in months 😆😆😆 far too early to bed!

Hope you’re having a great night!

Stay safe everyone ☀️☀️☀️

  1. We’re laughing about you sheltering from 25 degrees C, that is a cool day now for us. 31 degrees C again today, 🥵🥵. Bought a gazebo to put outside our patio doors to try to stop so much sun heating the glass (since they cut down the big tree behind our house for housing it’s unbearable) and we keep the curtains drawn most of the time. Other than that it’s a lovely summer! BBQ plans for the weekend. Enjoy your trip Xx

    1. 25°c is unbearable for us and I can’t believe I’m camping in it!!! Good idea re the gazebo. Out cottage is so old it has thick walls so our house is always cool when it’s warm outside… the tent not so much!! Enjoy your BBQ! Xx
