Day 1664 reality kicks in… 😆

Back to work.

Back to moulting doggos.

Back to eating way too many carbs.

Back to dark nights.

I feel a bit flat tonight sitting here writing this.

There’s loads to be done in the house but I can’t actually bring myself to do any of it.

I need to do a food shopping but I’ll stick with the carb loading that saves me from having to do that just now.

I got up at 5.45am to walk the dogs. It was sooooo dark.

I had to rethink….

I had my shower, got ready for work and made my lunch before I took them out.

It was still dark!

They were still half asleep so they were good girls. 😆

I had to switch my headtorch on.

They had a good run about and we headed back down the hill.

So I have to be honest and say that was my day. There’s not much else to report.

My head is in a good place just a bit flat after such an adventure filled weekend.

I’m just going to lounge about in my Christmas jammies and try to ignore all of the jobs I could put on my list. Even writing that makes me smile. I’m taking control of my relaxation.

    1. Oh wow that’s amazing we went on 10th May 2023 so if you go onto my website I think you can do a search for Iceland or that date! The jokulsarlon glacier lagoon was was top place!! We are going again on 6th December. We’ll miss you by a few weeks!! Xx

      2. The Sky Lagoon was fabulous. We will go back there in December. Did you book the 7 step? I’d like to try one of the smaller ones this time too. Oh I’m so excited you are going too, how funny would it have been if it had been the same time!! Xx

      3. The holiday company have booked it for us, no idea whether it’s 7 step or not! It was all a bit of a rush to book and I’m still just hoping we can actually go. My Mum is not doing that well, she had a fall last week and still struggling. Just waiting for my boss to arrange her X-rays as A & E were hopeless and didn’t do any. Anyway, it would have been great to see you in Iceland 🤣🤣.. maybe our paths will overlap another time/place one day Xx
