Day 1485 I “dot de told” but had a good day anyway!

I woke up at 5am and felt like I was swallowing glass…. My throat was all scratchy and sore.

I got up and had a big drink of water and it seemed to help as I fell asleep until 8.30am, unheard of for me!

I stayed up for the Aurora again last night so I was shattered. I ended up joining Claire, next door in her back garden and we lay on the seats at her fire pit, holding phones up to the sky. Nothing was happening. I can’t remember when we came in… I think just before midnight.

Still got some moody shots… love that I’ve caught out 14 year old neighbours purple lights in her bedroom!!

The sky was much brighter than it had been the day before.

I triggered our security light down the back coming back in from Claire’s…. Blinded me!!

Just nothing happening in the sky.

My friend Michelle did get some Aurora shots from about half a mile away… I was in bed by then and couldn’t muster up the strength to head back out.

So back to this morning, I lay in bed for a bit, reading some positive quotes to lift my spirits.

Once I got moving I decided to head to Home Bargains and Aldi for a cheap toiletries, house cleaning stuff and food shop. All done by 10.30am. We’ve had no tin foil, extra virgin olive oil, bin bags or Fairy Liquid for a good few days…. I never run out of things like that…. This time I ran out of everything!

I feel really lethargic. Everything is an effort but I hoovered the house as it needed doing.

The 4 x moulting dogs have taken their toll! I’ve been picking it up on the daily, but nothing beats hoovering it up. Incidentally we have the Shark Anti hair wrap hoover…

Which does not do what it says on the tin…. No wonder it struggles to pick up at times.

It felt good to get it done even if I needed a wee sit down after each room!

I’m not really sure where the afternoon disappeared to.

It got really sticky and hot so I sat in the sun. Craig pressure washed the back artificial grass and decking and it looks lovely.

We just need to deal with my meadow garden (far left) which turned into a horrific weed-fest when I planted my meadow flowers… I may never hear the end of that!

Incidentally we have artificial grass because of the dogs. We lived one summer with three dogs and this is what it looked like.

After one winter…

Every time the dogs came in they were filthy. The artificial grass has been a godsend.

So we have to pressure wash it from time to time to freshen it up. “We”….. 😂

The bit Craig has just washed is away down behind the big black shed. We have a huge, beautiful garden but it’s a lot of work to stay on top of all the weeds, washing grass and staining all the decking and fencing.

We had a thunderstorm around 4pm… it got quite loud and heavy rain so I went for a shower. The heavens opened and Craig said the main road was running like a river.

The skies cleared and it’s been sunny again ever since. We’re sitting outside enjoying the birdsong.

My second favourite bush has started to flower.

I just love these colours.

The forest flame have both been reduced to a white hot heat now… see what I did there?! 😂

So not much else to report…oh I did made another Planthood dinner.

Craig had some too. It was a really good one… and I have some left over for lunch tomorrow.

So I’m just sitting here having some quality cuddle time with Freya. Pup #3.

Bless her wee socks. It’s lovely in the early evening sun.

So… remember that we can take whatever this week throws at us. We can choose how we respond to situations outwith our control.

I will try to remind myself of this 🤦🏻‍♀️😂🫶🏼

There’s a good chance of Aurora again tonight but the experts are saying that it won’t be the same as Friday night. That was a once in a lifetime opportunity. They say we can expect to see it again maybe in the next 23 years.

I’m undecided as to whether I’ll stay up or not. It’s hard to decide to miss out just in case “they” are wrong! One final pic as a reminder of how special Friday night was.

Stay safe everyone 🩷💜🩵

Day 1450 a lovely Sunday with a surprise city break booking!! 🇮🇹

What a crazy day.

I woke at 7am and decided I wanted to go away next weekend. As I do.

I spoke to Craig to make sure there’s nothing else on and started looking.

The weather is wet and windy again next weekend so a train trip to Arisaig didn’t seem that appealing. (Should say here that I would love to go to Arisaig at the weekend but not if I get soaked everytime I go outside)!

I then went on to Skyscanner… of course I did.

On Friday 15th April I am flying to Rome for 3 nights!!!

Wow. No one is no more surprised than me!

I am equal parts excited and terrified.

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Life is short and is for living.

Now.

I almost backed out as I was booking it… a million anxieties ran through my mind. Why would I put myself through the nerves of doing this? Why am I spending this money? What if I’m too scared to go? What if I’m lonely? I don’t drink so can’t just have a glass of wine somewhere? On and on and on…. But I still booked it!

Feel the fear and do it anyway!

I’ve paid a wee bit extra to fly with Jet2 so that I can get coach transfers to my hotel. I also have a hotel with a pool so I have somewhere to relax to if it all gets a bit much. Jet2 also offer 24 hour hotline support so there’s someone I can call if I need it. I can’t ask for much more than that.

Craig is working next weekend, and has never fancied Italy, so that’s the main reason I chose it. He’s really supportive of me travelling… though obviously wishes he could have a holiday too!

So yeah, check me. Excitement and nerves!!

Also I have to get the Monday off work too… eeek!

Other than that bit of dramatic news, I spent the day writing a bit of the book I kind of think I’m writing and headed up to Braehead to spend some Primark vouchers I got for my birthday and Christmas!

The weather is wild today, again! Even the drive to Braehead was pretty hair-raising.

I didn’t get the denim skirt but I did get the jumper.

Also got it in gray. It’s super lightweight but cosy at the same time. It will be great for layering.

I didn’t get the furry body warmer but it was super cosy!!

I got this T-shirt in this colour and in white and that was my vouchers spent!

Thanks Evelyn and Stuart & Lee!

A few pupper photos to end with.

Holding Bhru’s paw!

Big yawn! Sometimes I think we got a dog to match the couch in the sunroom 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂

Appreciate any Rome suggestions anyone may have?

Hope you’ve all had a great weekend!

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1357 a self care kinda day and an afternoon with Gayle!

Wait till you hear about my morning… honestly, even I don’t believe what I spent the morning doing!

I had an amazing night’s sleep, out for the count all night. I’m so grateful for that.

I felt super refreshed.

I got up at 8, let the dogs out, fed the dogs, poop scooped the garden, took all the recycling to the bins and I felt so good after it all. I know how crazy that sounds. I get an amazing sense of calm when things are in order.

It’s a beautiful morning. It’s cold but no wind or rain and the sky is a lovely colour. Not good enough for photos but lovely nonetheless.

I made freshly ground, steaming hot, black coffee…. I write that and smile as it’s all about how you describe it. It was just a pot of black coffee but as I poured it, I thought of that wonderful description. It was a new bag of coffee beans that I’d bought from Curiosity coffee shop.

It was the nicely freshly ground coffee we’ve tried.

I then headed upstairs and sat with my Self Care Journal and filled out the first lot of pages. My main purpose in life… the things I enjoy, the things that make me happy and the things that get in the way of that happiness.

How do I feel emotionally, spiritually, in my friendships and relationships, environmentally, socially and then some.

What do I want to focus on this month?

I loved every minute of it.

I used a nice pen… why does that matter…. But it did.

I used some nice stickers! One that said today was a big day as I started to work in the journal.

I hear myself right now. I have NEVER done anything like this before and in fact I was scoff at those who did. Probably only because I was envious of their clarity of mind and vision that they wanted to do so much work on themselves… when I was barely holding it together.

It feels like time. It’s time to take back control of my life. No more boredom, feeling life is passing me by…. I’m going out to get it.

I did take this photo and send it to Craig. One is the bed made by a man and one is the bed made by a woman. 🤔

He replied with “which one did I do?!? Love you xxx” I laughed out loud!!

Khaleesi and Freya had a good snooze while I did all the hard work.

I then went for a shower and found a playlist…. 100 most uplifting songs ever…. And played that and sang along to it as I showered.

I was buzzing and I felt so alive.

I had physio for my knee at 12.40. It was an NHS appointment and the nurse was lovely. She asked so many questions about the pain, about family history of arthritis, about my psoriasis and she gave both knees a good workout to see what the issue was. She’s scheduled me for blood tests on 16th January to look for inflammatory disease and has given me exercises to do up to 3 times a day. She’ll call once the blood test results come back.

I then picked up Gayle and we headed to Curiosity coffee shop in Beith. I had a mint oat milk latte with Rocky road and Gayle had a hot chocolate with Cookies and Cream cake.

It was a lovely catch up, chat, coffee and cake!! We just joined 3 other folk at the table and chatted away.

We then went to Gayle’s wholesaler in Glasgow for SALE stickers for her Christmas sale when she opens back up in January.

When we left I drove on the wrong side of the road!!!!!

I couldn’t think what side of the street to on and chose the wrong one?!?! Thankfully it was a quiet street. Gayle kept me right!!

We headed to Silverburn shopping centre but I didn’t feel quite right after that. I was a bit dizzy and lightheaded. not sure if it was too much caffeine, dehydration or not enough food. It could have been any of them…. I felt very fuzzy headed.

We had a good wonder around the shops but the feeling never really left.

Home now and I do feel better after having had dinner. Comfies on and feet up. It’s been a busy day after so long doing nothing.

A very purposeful day.

I’m so surprised that I wanted to do this. So proud that I have and excited to see what it brings.

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1349 another random day in between Christmas and New Year 😂

I slept like a log last night.

Progesterone – 1 Knee Pain – 0

Woop woop!

My knee has uncomfortable today but nothing like the pain a few days ago, so all good.

It’s been another strange day in between Christmas and New Year.

I don’t really want to do anything but I’m bored by doing nothing.

It’s still torrential rain, the wind isn’t that strong first thing but it picks up again later on in the day. It feels like it never really gets light. I miss the blue sky and sunshine.

Again I sound like I’m complaining but it’s actually been a really nice day… indoors.

We went for a food shop together today. We got lots in for the next few days. The use by dates aren’t great so we’ll have to go back out before New Year’s Day. Most stuff was dated until Saturday.

I changed the bed when we got back….Clean sheets tonight! I did two loads of washing, put clothes away and tidied out Craig’s wardrobe…. As you do. It was stressing me out! 😂

Other than that is been another “me” day… chilling with my book and the puppers.

I love the light of the Christmas tree and the candles but you’ve gathered that by now, haven’t you?!

I saw this and thought…. Absolutely!!

So feet up on the couch for me again. Dogs are shattered, they’re all sound asleep!

Most of all I am calm.

Stay safe everyone 🎄🎅🏼🤶🏼

Day 1325 a wee Starbucks catch up with Lea!

Just a quickie tonight as I’ll be late home.

Having a lovely Silverburn Starbucks catch up with Lea tonight. Love it when two people can talk so much and never be done talking!!

Silverburn has lovely Chrissie decs up!

I wish I’d made an effort to change after work instead of looking like a bag lady.

We had such a giggle trying to get our faces beside the stags head…. Photos either many chins were deleted.

Even the staircases look pretty.

I’m heading home now, yawning my head off but had a lovely wee catch up and wander round the shops.

There were also coffees with cream 😂😂

It’s sooooo good to talk.

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1322 a fairly regular day

Was up at 1.22 for the loo and had to take painkillers for my knee. Amazing how quickly a dog walk hurts it again.

Slept until just after 6am which was great. I felt refreshed and my knee’s not been sore all day.

So after all the festivities and excitement, today’s been a fairly regular kind of day…. But this is ok.

I was actually really focussed at work and got lots done… I even cleared out the catalogue cupboard which has been a mess for ages. I bloody love that 😂😘

Not a great photo as the foreground at work is nothing special, but there was a lovely sunset before 4pm.

The photo didn’t do it justice.

I went straight to Tesco tonight and did a food shop…. Came home and put all of it away and made a lovely salad in my Tupperware tub. I don’t feel I’ve had many salads since I was in Turkey.

I love that I have to eat it out the tub!!

I’ve got one made up for lunch tomorrow too. It was really tasty. Salami, olives, feta, sundried tomatoes on baby leaf salad with rocket. I love rocket!!

I then tidied the kitchen, again…. Seems a never ending thankless task, put a washing on and loaded the dishwasher.

Then I went through my drawers and wardrobe and tidied everything up…. Dark clothes on yellow hangers, light clothes on black hangers…. There’s an OCD coming out in me there. A black T-shirt on a black hanger is just wrong. 😂

So I’ve finally sat down and it feels very nice to relax.

A productive day.

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1257 supporting an inspirational lady swimming from Troon to Lady Isle and back 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊‍♂️ and other stories

I slept like a log last night. 3 caffeine coffees yesterday too, go figure. Not complaining.

Khaleesi’s first mum/previous owner was on TV yesterday being interviewed by Vanessa Feltz! Khal was out the count after a big day and slept right through it.

Craig got a great wee clip the other day when she was on Newsnight. It’s on his Scottish Dog Behaviourist page! I do wonder if she knows who it is?! 😂

I felt a bit antsy when I woke up… as if I should be worrying about something… I know how ridiculous that sounds but that’s what anxiety does. I have to say it’s 1pm…. I’m sitting writing this and I feel calm to the point I could just sleep.

I’ve said before, but the calm after anxiety is a wonderful feeling.

The feeling of cleaning your rain splashed glasses, and being able to see again, is equally wonderful. Don’t know why I didn’t clean them before now. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 hello blog!

I was up at 6am as I was heading to Ballast Bank in Troon. A very inspirational lady I know was swimming from Ballast Bank out to Lady Isle and back to raise money for River Garden Auchencruive. They do amazing work helping people to free themselves of addiction to drink and drugs. Chantal very sadly lost her partner to addiction a few years ago. She’s been talking about doing this since I met her swimming with Ellison and Eileen.

It was a pretty wet morning with winds forecast up to 14 mph…. Or knots… I’m thinking knots to be honest. Anymore than that and she would have to stop.

I’m dressed for the weather.

There’s a dredger out going up and down the channel that Chantal will be swimming across.

It’s pretty wet and mean and moody.

A very blurry photo of Lady Isle.

She has a friend swimming with her.

There she is waving at the boat!

Ready for the off.

We watched until they were almost invisible and then I headed to Morrisons in Troon for a food shop. It was a very healthy food shop!

I have to say that I am loving driver Bertie Beetle (I still feel the need to say I don’t actually call it that!! 😂) I think if I’d still been driving the van, I wouldn’t have gone down to Troon this morning.

I headed into Irvine and had a wander around Primark.

I got a pair of parachute trousers!! 🪂👖check me. How old do I think I am?!?

They are size 10/12 which is uh-mazing… they are obviously MASSIVE made (big made wasn’t quite large enough!) they were reduced from £18 to £10.

Also for a vest top and these teal joggers. They were £6.

Came home and got photos of the pups and took the OG3 out for a walk. This one of Khaleesi makes me laugh. Her face!

It’s stayed dry.

I went to pick Gayle up at 3pm and we headed up to Braehead Shopping Centre to get some currency for our holiday. We had a wander round the shops and I got some new trainers.

Chantal finished her swim in 5.5hours. What an amazing effort.

And just like that it’s 8pm! I’ve had a good day today. I love an early start and making the most of the day.

Most of all I love being calm.

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1250 no sunshine but shopping, village flower show and pub!

Wide awake at 4.45 this morning. I slept really well, just woke up early and stayed awake.

It was back to normal this morning for a Saturday, just me and the three degrees!

It was warm but misty and cloudy all day here! Mum just messaged to say they had a glorious day and they’re only an hour and a half away.

I just need to say that Craig cleaned our windows today and oh my word, I can see the whole street!!!! We live on a main road and only a pavement between the windows and the road. You are aware they are deity and need cleaned but the clean windows are a total revelation!!!

He also brought some beautiful flowers from the garden and put them in a vase.

After dog walk I was up and out to Braehead Shopping Centre. I had in in my head I need another pair of trousers.

This is me in my own clothes. The combat trousers are actually a size too big now and they look ok but are not comfy to wear.

I tried on these black joggies but I tried on the size too small. Size 12 M&S combats fit me but size 12 joggies felt a bit too tight.

Still too tight even with a black t shirt 😂

I still love these camouflage combats but I know that I won’t get enough wear out them.

Like the style of these but I’m not an animal print guy.

I could get them in another colour maybe.

Tried on the joggies in the right size and decided they were good to go!!

I had a wander round the shops and got a text to ask if I was free to help support the judges at the Gateside Horticultural Society Flower Show…. I was a half hour away. I was pretty much done with shopping so came home.

They didn’t need me! 😂😂

So I did housework instead. Once again we had STUFF everywhere so I put all of the stuff back to where I belongs.

At 2pm I popped in to pick Claire up and we headed over to the village school for the first part of the Horticultural Show.

Check the size of this cabbage…. Hand for reference!!! This was grown by my neighbour 4 doors away from my house. I couldn’t believe it. It’s massive.

We then headed back down to the village hall and saw all the flowers.

They are absolutely stunning.

Some of my neighbours entered this. I love the flowers and the card. It didn’t win a prize but was lovely.

I had a lovely wee cream tea with Claire and chatted to some older neighbours that I haven’t probably seen since last year. Lovely chats. They all said it was nice to see the youngsters involved yet someone did ask me if I was “still” working… I panicked silently thinking they thought I was at retirement age 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂😂

So in other news, the Scottish Dog Behaviourist page is doing really well and gained another 150 FB followers overnight as a result of a Khaleesi and Calaidh video clip he shared.

I remember when we were counting and were chuffed when he got up to 50!

I’m so proud of everything he’s achieved. I’ll share the clip so you can see them!

Khal & Cal’a first play

It’s great to see his page grow.

I think Khaleesi is feeling quite at home now.

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1244 a very early rise, dog walks, shopping and lunch with Gayle

Another busy but lovely day off. Craig actually had to wake me and ask me to roll over last night which suggests I may have been snoring?!?

Moi?!?! 😳

Couldn’t possibly be true.

His alarm went off at 5am. I knew I wouldn’t get back to sleep so got up about 5.30 and made coffee. The grindy bean kind ☕️

We sat and chatted for an hour or so then Craig set off bound for Potters Bar, north of London.

It’s a long drive.

He was meant to be meeting Tito The Transpawter between 3 and 5pm so he had to be down there for 3pm, just in case, which he was.

Unfortunately, due to delays in France, they didn’t make the ferry, from France, until 3pm so they are now meeting at 8.30pm.

Thankfully Craig has checked in to a hotel so he was able to get some rest and a shower. It does mean he’ll have to drive home in Monday morning traffic.

On the plus side, it gives him time to spend with Khaleesi as she’s been travelling since Friday morning. Poor little poppet. I feel so sad when I think what she’s going through. We have to make her stay here extra special for the next few days to make up for it. Here he is saying goodbye to the pups!

I set off with hoddit, doddit and ploddit at 7am when Craig left.

Love this tree 🌲

Something serious to sniff here!

It’s much cooler than yesterday.

Bhru looking for sheep 🐑 😂

Lots of cows this morning instead! Finding cows instead!

Gateside village was looking lovely in the sun this morning.

I really loved this next shot.

In our excitement leaving the house this morning, I had forgotten poo bags…. I had to retrace my steps to pick up two poos… not a lovely subject but important to say that I did retrace my steps when I’d forgotten to take them with me!

We passed this next field twice this morning and it’s never cut for silage…. It has been this year. This is about 500yards from the back of our house. I did wonder what the noise was yesterday…. They must have been cutting this field.

I did two loads of washing and hung it up and got showered and ready to head to Braehead Shopping Centre with Gayle.

I forgot to get a pic of us!

We tried on lots of trousers in M&S! I didn’t buy any of them.

It’s fun trying them on though!

We had a lovely lunch in Starbucks and a good wander around the shops until we both hit a wall. I was shattered.

Oh I got some magnesium for my aches and pains. The really helpful guy in Holland & Barrett said it would start working in a couple of days. Fingers crossed as I feel really stiff and sore just now… probably lack of exercise, I know!

When I got home I took the dogs up the hill to the field for a big run about.

That back fired as the farmer was hay baking…

They only got one big run and I had to put them straight back on the lead. Was fascinating to be so close to the baler though.

Since then I’ve made a lovely salad for dinner, thrown balls for the dogs in the back garden and read a magazine that Holly next door gave me.

I’m determined to stay awake to see that Craig has Khaleesi.

Exciting times!

I need to get a lift to work tomorrow as I’m van-less and car-less and husband-less in the morning. I need to be up and out with the dogs and potentially starting work by 7am. I might be asleep at my desk by 11 😂

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1222 a lovely wee Saturday!

Wide awake at 6am. Of course I was…. on my day off. 🙄

I’ve had a lovely day. Blitzed the house this morning, well particularly our bedroom.

All on the board are a great follow.

I think I’ve said before that I feel like we still have too much “stuff” and certain rooms become a dumping ground. Our bedroom had… so it’s all cleared and things put away where they should have been. I really enjoyed pottering. I cleaned the dogs room again. It wasn’t that bad but it’s good to stay on top of it. I hoovered the stairs. It’s much easier the more often they get done… obviously. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I put the van up for sale on Gumtree! Someone has already messaged to ask if I’d like to exchange… eh naw!

I put some camping mats, pillows, double sleeping bag and rucksack up for sale on FB Marketplace. sold the mats and pillows already.

You all know how much I loved being in The little gift shop but I am enjoying the extra time to get so much done.

I am way more content when the house is clean. A tidy house is a tidy mind as they say.

Gayle came to pick me up at 2.30pm and we headed up to Linwood and had a wander round the shops for a few hours. It was great to catch up.

I got this really random lemon sweatshirt and shorts but it’s made of towelling. It was £8.50 in the sale. I thought it would be great for wearing around the hotel room on holiday. (You so know why I have so much stuff to move around the house really eh?!!)

Unfortunate photo bomb by Calaidh!

So back in my comfies for a night of TV. we’re watching Wolf on BBC iPlayer, recommended by Rachel two doors down. It seems dark already and it’s only 7.15pm. It has rained ALL day! 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️

Thought this next one was excellent food for thought. it’s another reason I write the blog, I know I can be the toxic person at times.

Not today though.

All sweetness and light me, today! 😂😘

Stay safe everyone 🌧️🌧️🌧️

Day 1194 a lovely wee morning shopping, afternoon nap and a hen party in the pub!

I was awake early today as the Scottish Dog Behaviourist had his usual early morning alarm. I thought I’d get up and at it rather than wasting hours on my phone.

Straight out with hoddit, doddit and ploddit for our early morning dog jog! Freya was just not feeling it today. She might be coming in to season maybe?

Everything is so green after the amount of rain we’ve been having. It was such a dry June that I really feel July is making up for it. The rain today is like a tropical storm! (Ok I know that Mrs Scottish person has no real concept of a tropical storm, it’s just heavy rain! 😂)

I pass this every dog walk and think this would make a great gang hut.

Gang hut?!?!? That makes me smile as I don’t know that I ever had a gang hut when I was wee and yet I think it would be great now?!? For my “gang”?!? Basically somewhere cool to sit and hide is more likely these days.

I also had a wee thistle photography session again this morning too. I don’t know how they came out until I go to look at them right now 😂

Hmmmm much the same as every other day…. One day I’ll get the thistle photo that will launch my photography career 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 today was not that day!

Spotted this wee guy in the field!

There’s a problem with this next photo. There’s a sheep and a lamb in the primary school playing fields.

Quick hop in the shower and then off up to Braehead shopping centre for a strapless bra for the hen do tonight. (as a wee aside it turns out I’m not wearing the dress that needs one!!)

I had a lovely wee shopping trip to myself.

The cropped cargos were nice but not what I was really looking for.

I really liked these full length cargos. I ordered them for home delivery as they didn’t have the regular length in stock. The ones in the photo are short.

I loved this linen vest top but it just didn’t look right on. Too square at the top and straight up and down. I got the black cargos but I don’t think I need both them and the grey ones. Might take the black ones back.

This wee playsuit actually looks really nice in the photo but it was super uncomfortable and clung to all the wrong spots.

Linen top was lovely but did nothing for me.

Black T-shirt was lovely but again… I’m not a massive fan of a high neck.

Got this next one. The v neck felt better on.

And this next one… I never saw that coming?!? Needless to say…. I didn’t buy that!

I have to say that I’m feeling really good about my weight loss. I’m not trying hard, I’m not making a huge effort. I’m just fasting for 16-20 hours every day and it feels like I have taken back control. I love the food that I’m eating in between. I appreciate it, I savour it and I feel very grateful for it. I know that sounds daft but you know I say it how it is.

I find my main meals are much healthier than before because I want it to be tasty and not just carbohydrates, which taste of nothing. I still have cakes, milky coffees and crisps, I just don’t eat them all day.

So I’m gonna put this out there as I’m proud of where I’ve got to…. I tried on bikinis today….

More than anything, look at the difference in my face because actually that’s all that matters.

The majority of us hate our bodies. I am learning to be very appreciative of what I have. It’s a different story without the bikini top on but let’s deal with one thing at a time and don’t worry there will NEVER be photos of that!!!

So yeah tonight we have Elly’s Hen next door on the village pub. Since I don’t go out much, I am very lucky it’s just next door. It’s been TORRENTIAL rain and tonight it a tropical theme!!

It’s dried up now and long may that continue.

Here are Claire and I ready for the hen!

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️

Day 1182 back to work and food shopping!

It’s nearly 7pm and I just sat down.

I didn’t sleep well last night…. That is, until about 4.30am where I knocked out for the count…. Thankfully the Scottish Dog Behaviourist got up early to walk the dogs! He’s a good lad.

Back to work this morning and surprisingly not the chaos that I expected. 😆 I enjoyed catching up on my spreadsheets and getting everything back in order. There’s not a single clean mug for anyone to use but hey, that’s the worst of it. 😆

Ellison and I went out and sat in Abbie the camper van at lunchtime as I had some soup to heat up. It was really nice to have a wee mini camping lunch and catch up after her holiday then mine.

Straight after work I headed to the shops and didn’t get home until just after 6. We’re stocked back up again.

I’d fasted for 21 hours and 45 minutes today which as great. I always find a Sunday afternoon into a Monday really easy for some reason. Tomorrow I will be ravenous by 10am 😂😂

I’m back out of Facebook jail, still none the wiser how I ended up there but I did have a new random FB page open on my account this morning. I finally figured out how to delete it. I think they think I’m infringing copyright by sharing my Just Jules Photography photos with a Just Jules copyright on them. It’s only because I don’t want people to steal them but it’s the only thing I can think of….

I’ll try a few without the copyright and see what happens.

Hope you all had a good Monday!

Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️
