Day 1995 an early morning swim in St Paul’s Bay, Lindos then afternoon by the pool!

Another beautiful day.

Not a cloud in the sky.

I am so grateful for this holiday.

We are relaxed, we are chilled out, we have no real agenda, we’re eating lovely food, we’re still having early nights…. This is just my perfect holiday.

We are still finding dog hairs and they make us smile!

We are incredibly lucky to have our own pool. Because we pay our holiday up in advance, the cost to upgrade doesn’t seem much over the space of a full year.

It took us a few days to sit still but we are managing just fine for now.

I’ve only read 2 books and I’m into the third. I’ve taken a gazillion photos and almost broken my phone twice! Turns out at some point in time 6,500 photos ago, I hit RAW…. So the last 6,500 photos are MASSIVE. It’s so simple to hit with HIGE consequences.

Of course Mrs Antidepressants takes everything in her stride which I keep telling you, is such a welcome feeling.

I am in and out the pool like a yoyo! I just swam 10 lengths…. Took me about 30 strokes 😆

This morning we dragged ourselves to breakfast after a mere 9 hours sleep…. So that we could get down to the beach before it got busy.

There are 4 beaches in Lindos… as you look out towards the Acropolis there is Lindos and Pallas Beaches to the left and two beaches in St Paul’s Bay… one with sand between the rocks which is free and one with very fancy sunbeds… which is not.

We chose the beach next to St Paul’s Beach restaurant… the free one. Craig is not a lover of the beach but knows I have a sea swimming addiction 😆 so I knew we wouldn’t stay for long. He likes to be in and out the shade, I like to be in and out the sun! There is no shade at this beach!

This is the walk down into the village.

It’s quiet because we are early but this street is HEAVING when we come back up at midday! Hoarded of bus tourists are pouring down the path and seem incapable of single file 😆😆

The shops are only just opening up. I’d wanted to be earlier to catch them when they were all closed by must have needed the 9 hours sleep!!

This is another very steep road down to the beach!

First glimpse of St Paul’s Bay.

It’s everything I need it to be! When we saw this from up on the hill earlier in the week, it was really choppy and the sad was all stirred up making it cloudy….

Crystal clear today!

Straight out into the sea. It’s warmer than the pool!

That’s me out there!!

Holding my phone out the water!

Boy on the rocks!

This is a Lion Fish….. thankfully I saw this AFTER I swam!!!

About 11am we head back into Lindos. I’ve had two swims and there’s no shade at all.

We stop for a Diet Coke!

Then slug through the millions of tourists, back up the hill to our peaceful haven!!

I’ve spent the afternoon reading book number 3 and feeling very, very grateful for this wonderful trip.

Stay safe everyone ☀️🇬🇷☀️
