For the first time in 6 days I spotted a cloud in the sky…..

There were a few others today but other than that still blue sky and endless sunshine!
Another lovely breakfast… Greek yoghurt with honey, walnuts and apple followed by Avocado toast.

We had another lovely day by the pool but got ready and headed into Lindos for around 5pm so we could catch sunset at the Lindos Acropolis.

The views are absolutely stunning from up here but even at the end of September, this was a very hot walk for us Scottish folk. The rock has had intense sunshine beating down on it all day so it radiates heat. One guy told us if it’s 42°C in Lindos it can be 48°C up in the Acropolis. The sweat was pouring out of us!

This climb is not for the faint hearted, there are no railings or barriers and Lindos itself is very hilly so I think we’re both coming back fitter than we left!
But wow!

It’s €20 per person to get in which is a lot but it’s pretty special.

I can’t believe there are trees up here that get no water and can survive in that heat… on rock. Nature is amazing!

The shadow makes it looks like two trees! I was fascinated by it.

Shadows!

Seems sweaty hair sits nice.

Obsessed with the trees!

Beautiful sunset.

Craigie the mountain goat showing me how it’s done!

So glad we did that.
Dinner was Stefany’s Restaurant tonight. I have had salad for almost every meal and this one may have been the best yet!

A very clever cat posing in the black and white clothing shop!

And back to our own little piece of heaven.

Just for context, we are way up the very back of Lindos at the foot of the hills. We’ve done a lot of walking in this heat 😆😆

Another amazing day.
Got some lovely pics and video of the pups today from father in law Doug, and Claire! so lovely to see them!! Thank you both xx
Stay safe everyone 🇬🇷☀️🧗🏻♀️

Fabulous photos Julie!
Brought back memories, I visited over 30 years ago and still remember the climb up/slide down on the slippery path, with ladies selling their wares on route! xx

I was here over 30 years ago too!!!! I had forgotten the slippery path…. Craig did a huge slip on the way down but caught himself. 🫣😆

That’s lucky he caught himself, the path is treacherous! xx

I stopped breathing!!! He’d been up over the rocks like Heidi the mountain goat but then slipped right in front of me. It’s a terrifying path!! (Also I have no idea why my mountain goat is called Heidi?!?! 😆😆) xx
