It has rained on and off all day today… it’s pouring outside as I type.
I had another lovely 8 hours sleep and struggled to get out of bed when the alarm went off.
I decided to walk the dogs before work this morning.
I knew I wasn’t feeling that great this morning. I thought the walk would do me good.
And it did.

It was raining and the sky was very grey and yet everything was still very green.

It was very quiet. Just how I like it.

Being out in the fresh air was definitely helping to clear my head.

The roadside verges are so pretty and overgrown at this time of year.

The burn is really low and hardly moving.

We’re on a mission!

You notice the dogs are never in the same order… They swap about all the time!

The look like they’re chattering away to each other.

I love the old gates that are along the main road. There are 3 of them.

The rust is eating it away.

None of them are functional gates anymore, which is just as well. Don’t think they’d hold anything in anymore.

And on we plod.

I really had to push myself to do it and I was glad I did.
I still felt a bit weird at work first thing….. I had a fear. A sense of impending doom.
I did a quick 3 minute breathing exercise with the Silver Cloud CBT app. That helped a bit.
I had an awful feeling that something was wrong.
My heart rate was up.
I never got to the bottom of why.
It just was.
The rest of the day went fine and Craig made a lovely dinner when I got home.
We’ve got our feet up and watching Dept Q on Netflix. It’s set in Edinburgh and even features Mortonhall Crematorium!
Hope you all had a lovely Monday.
Stay safe everyone ♥️♥️♥️
