Day 1821 huge road trip from Ayrshire to Isle of Skye!

It’s 8.26pm and Helen and I have just arrived in our little home for a few days on the Isle of Skye.

We have had the most amazing day! We’ve covered 220 miles through the very best of what Scotland has to offer.

The weather has been beautiful all of the way!

I hope this will post as we have no signal here, only WiFi!

This is our trip!

First stop, Firkin Point, Loch Lomond.

Ben Lomond…. Craig and I have climbed that mountain!

We stopped at the Green Welly Stop for the toilet and to buy some snacks…. Then next stop Glencoe…. Check the plane flying over the mountains.

The Three Sisters and Aneoch Ridge.

Then a long drive to Eilean Donan Castle. I have always wanted to visit the castle.

I really need to quit this pose…..

The we drove up to Plockton.

We had dinner in the Plockton Inn.

An amazing hot smoked salmon salad.

We had the most stunning drive back towards the Skye Bridge and caught this beautiful sunset over the Cuillin mountain range.

And here we are, our wee Bothy above the garage.

An amazing day, just right out of this world.

A reminder that life is for living and we must live each moment like it’s our last.

Stay safe everyone ☀️☀️☀️
